AEM EMS / DASH for Aviation Applications

This system is designed for use with the Yamaha Apex, Sidewinder, Nytro, or Phazer Engines when running the factory ECM/EFI or any engine that is NOT running our Full AEM EFI Kit. 2 Screens are available showing the following data:

  • Engine RPM

  • Prop RPM (calculated from gearbox reduction ratio)

  • Oil Pressure, Psi

  • Oil Temperature, F

  • Coolant Temperature, F

  • Fuel Pressure, Psi

  • AFR (Air Fuel Ratio from Wideband O2 Sensor)

  • HOBBS (Total Time)

  • EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperatures)

  • Battery Voltage

Warnings are setup for the following parameters:

  • Coolant Temperature < 125F or >220F (number flashes orange)

  • Fuel Pressure < 35 psi (yellow LED & number flashes orange)

  • Oil Temperature < 125F or >240 (number flashes orange)

  • Oil Pressure < 7 psi (red LED & number flashes orange)

  • Battery Voltage < 12.5v (yellow LED & number flashes orange)

  • AFR < 12.3 or < 14.5 (number flashes orange)

  • 7in Display = DISCONTINUED

  • 4 Channel EGT Kit with CAN Module, 4 Stainless Weld in Bungs, 4 Sensors = DISCONTINUED

  • 5in or 7in Display Bracket, makes flush mount in panel = DISCONTINUED

Discloser: The system comes with a pre loaded “Layout” developed for using the Yamaha Engines in an aviation application / environment. Although the “Layout” is fully customizable the “Layout” received in this system is LOCKED and can NOT be modified by the user. Customers are able to download the AEM Dash Design software and develop a “Layout” of their own. In doing so, channel configurations, sensor calibration, warnings, etc will ALL need to be configured by the customer as well.
