We start with a remanufactured 5.3L from ATK / Summit Racing and build out to your specs with ALL NEW parts related to Oil Pan, Intake Manifold, & Accessory Drive Spacing. The “Base” engine shown here comes with a Gen4 Truck Intake Manifold & 92mm DBC Throttle Body & Crank Pulley. Any of the import Oil Pans are included (302-1, 302-2, or 302-3) and Water Pump with Tensioner and Thermostat & Housing. The “base” engines utilize OEM GM EFI with a 2002 DBC ECM (12200411, Red/Blue). We can build these engines with the Holley Terminator or the Haltech Rebel EFI systems at an added cost. If you want the engine configured more of a Car / LS engine using the lower profile LS6 Intake and Accessory Drive spacing we can do that too. LS6 Intake Manifolds are not made anymore so we obtain good used take-offs, clean them, send the injectors out to Injector Rx for cleaning and flow matching. The LS6 Manifolds utilize the older and smaller 3 bolt throttle bodies therefore we install a new OEM style 3 bolt DBC Throttle Body. Because of this, the engine configured this way may not have quite the HP & TQ numbers. Real Dyno testing coming soon and will be updated. Every engine is fully assembled, tested, AND custom Dyno Tuned.
Cam Specs: The Cam that comes in these engines is nice because its in the “low lift” category being only .550” which is much easier on cam bearings because an LS6 style valve spring is all that is needed. But being a 222 / 232 duration it makes great power when combined with the high performance 799/243 heads, the larger Gen4 Intake Manifold and a larger 92mm Throttle Body. Gen3 Throttle Bodies are only 78mm for reference. This cam does produce a notable “lope” and an 800rpm idle is required. We can install any cam in these engines if you prefer but will come at an added cost.

These ATK 5.3L remanufactured engines come with the LS6 (243 or 799) heads. With these high performance heads, the Gen4 Intake and a 92mm Throttle Body this engine has proven to meet or even exceed its advertised ratings of 450HP and 420TQ. To purchase an engine
Step 1 - Fill out and submit a Purchase Form.
Step 2 - I will generate an invoice with all options, estimated shipping, and scheduled process date - You will then get an email back with an online link to the invoice. This may take several hours our up to a day depending on how busy we are. But engines are initially secured by day / time stamp of when Purchase Form is submitted.
Step 3 - Follow the link to the invoice in the email and ONLY pay the noted DEPOSIT (approximately 50% of total) via ACH / EBT. Note: I do accept cash, certified checks, or even personal checks for deposits to avoid processing fees, but I MUST be notified as I will only hold engine for 24 hours otherwise.
Step 4 - Wait for your engine process date! I will then send you a final invoice email that is complete with actual shipping charges, links to pictures and video of your engine for approval. Follow link to invoice, pay balance within 7 days and we ship engine to you. Again, I will accept cash, certified checks, or personal checks for the balance to avoid processing fees. Certified check and credit card payment engines ship ASAP. I will hold engine for approximately 7 days AFTER on personal check payments.
